If I were running I would run on a
pro-choice campaign where life was the best choice
war would be the very very last resort
the environment would be protected as much as we can based on future sustainability and economic sustainability
the constitution as written is a very good model for any society and all faiths
national defense would be very important with an emphasis on defense
the general welfare would be promoted through job programs that work and the understanding that as the world's richest nation we have no good reason not to help our less fortunate
the rich would pay more taxes but not so much as to make them not still rich in recognition that our nation as a whole has helped them to become rich
foreign aid would not be done away with but it would be meted out without any expectations of return though primary aid would be domestic
corporate bailout would not occur and should not occur in a capitalist economy
military bases in foreign countries would more than likely be closed down and troops brought home
police would be accountable for their transgressions as would any other government employeeProbably more but I'm tired.
