Some of the user mods out there are amazing.

I just upgraded my PC to a seething beast and the first thing I installed and looked at was Oblivion, and I pretty much just been doing that ever since.
Some mods are lame, others fantastic, most are compatible with each other and often take a little tweaking and tuning to cooperate with each other.
