They all thought they were so smart by participating in the Primary and voting for Hillary because they thought she had less of a chance to win the general election than Obama did.

Well, now there just may be a joint ticket (http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/).

Clinton/Obama or Obama/Clinton anyone?

She is still VERY polerizing (sp and STFU about it).

What's funny?

Not the point though. Clinton/Obama or vice versa would probably be virtually unstoppable. It's like a Democratic powerhouse ticket.

What's funny?

It's funny becuase they thought they were going to manipulate the system, but really may have ended up screwing themselves.

Hmm.

Nope, we're all screwed.

Hmm.

Nope, we're all screwed.

That's the point. They all thought they were being clever, manipulating the system, but now they're all screwed from their vantage point. So really they may have just sealed their own fate.

I don't see it that way, but that's needless to say I guess. I know of several republicans who thought they were being clever and voted for Hillary in the primary.

But, did you really think there was a possibility of anything other than a Hillary/Obama ticket?

What else is there? I mean even if Texas was nuked off the map last month and every Republican there were dead, we'd still get an Obama/Clinton ticket.

So I guess I don't see how "republicans lol" fits into it.

I honestly didn't think it was inevitable. I honestly thought Obama was going to run away with it.

But, you don't live here so I guess you haven't heard all of the talk around here of people thinking they are gaining something by voting for Hillary in the Dem primary instead of the republican. There was a lot of talk about how if they could make Hillary win she was more likely to lose to McCain than Obama. I had people who had never voted before in their life go vote, just to try to acheive this.
