Has he waited to long for his endorsment to help? I'm begining to think so. He has been out of the headlines and the story has moved on. Any machine he had in the up coming states has now dryed up and blown away.

For him to have a real impact now, I think he will have to make a stronger statment then "endorsment"... more like I'm "joining the ----- team" hinting of an agrement to serve in a capacity on a new administration, and THEN follow that up bygoing out on the road. Otherwise it will be like Kennedy, two news cycles at best.

Oh they're pawing all over his ass about who will he support. I think his "shelf life" has almost run out.

Because he's voting for Obama now, and he wants Edwards to be VP.

Which makes sense.

I would since I'm pretty much in the same boat as Ray, but I'm not a black guy.

Since Ray and I no longer have anything in common policy-wise with the current crop of candidates, the next logical choice is to vote for someone of the same sex, or color as yourself.

So I'm supporting Hillary Clinton now because she's white, and we both have arms.

ASSHAT!!! you don't have to be in the party, or even support the man to have an oppinion.

The question is "do you think an Edwards endorsment means anything after the race has moved on this far from him being in the headlines and in the race".

No.

Edwards is a vapid, open wound. Nothing he's ever said or done in any way has ever meant anything to anyone, ever.

Now you have messed up the whole thread. nobody will ever post their opinion after you made such a mess of the topic.

I do think it's too late. Now people have just learned what they like about the two candidates left. If he got behind someone as a VP or something, yeah, his supporters will follow. But as far as just having any sway, he's waited too long.

I think Edwards if the DNC equivalent of Dan Quayle. What a dumb guy, he goes out with his wife to burger king on their anniversary, tries to pretend he is Bobby Kennedy and go on a poverty tour but yet get's $200 haircuts. Personally he didn't bother me or anything nor did he get my attention. He was very easily forgettable and I think that's why he lost so much attention.
