That would be the last trace of conservatism remaining.
Now it's a battle of leftness on both sides! Hooray!
Hopefully we can get a Clinton/McCain ticket and just stop pretending like there's a difference.

I wonder what she'll do it it's Obama?
Also, note, I'm not linking to the "blogger" I'm just trying to show the video.

Same.
It's just a matter of picking your color, age and pants suit now, they're all the same class.

Just curious, what's actually conservative about Romney?
TheZenMan
02-07-2008, 08:23 PM
Well, that's the sad part...nothing.
He's just less left than the others.

How so?

Really?
Between Romney, McCain, Clinton and Obama you don't consider Romney to be the closest thing to a conservative?
Most conservatives are racist, and Romney wanted to close the boarders and require schools to teach in English, that's pretty conservative.

So, you're not saying he's a conservative, just the closest thing to one that you had?

Right.
McCain is just left of Hillary, so with Mitt goes all hope for anyone hoping to find a candidate to the right of center.
I wanted Thompson.

Too bad Thompson didn't want to be the President (for you).
I'm not meaning that in a mean way. He had a lot of promise and the buzz, but he didn't do a damn thing with it. The conservative base really liked him too.

I thought conservative meant small government, low or no taxes, generally anti-war (though the last 16 or so years this has reversed). Slow to add new social or other government programs and so on.

I can support Obama now. I have nothing in common from a policy standpoint with anyone in the race now...

Wowza. I can't say I'm not glad, but still a little surprised.

So you don't want your guns anymore?
Fuck that, I'll hold my nose and vote McCain over ANY democrat.

Actually, no I wouldn't.
It's gonna depend on his VP. I heard rumor of a McCain/Bloomberg ticket.
If that's what we get then I'm just gonna stay home and begin using a variety of drugs and alcohol, fuck it.
The VP will have to be someone at least to the right of Huckabee.

Well, I'm either voting for McCain or I'm not voting at all.
It depends on who the VP is you shitbag, so I can't make up my mind till I see all the conditions.
