First, let me start by saying I haven't played a lot, maybe an hour so far. This game is so insanely-over-the-top awesome, you need to play it for yourself. The intro video with Nero and (Dante? I dont know) is seriously a beautiful display of badassness. The graphics are pretty dang good, but not the greatest EVAR. The sound is great, especially the music that pumps you up and makes you want to kick ass. The story is pretty good, considering I haven't played the first three. The controls take some getting used to, but you should be kicking ass and stringing mad combos in no time.
This is a must have for anyone that loves over the top action slice-em-up games. It's not as intense of God of War, but a bit more sophisticated, and more "omg that had to hurt" cutscenes.
This game gets an 8.99 on the scale of iaacp.
Feel free to add your thoughts!

I'm on it.
The traffic was insane from snow and ice last night, I'll grab it today.

The camera angles certainly don't suck. You can always see where you're going, the only annoyance I notice is when it switches angles, you might sometimes walk the wrong direction, but even thats not very common.

Yes, great.
That's all well and good, but when exactly in the hell are you planning to buy Burnout?

This game is so unflinchingly awesome. The boss fights make my fucking pants tight.
On a somewhat related note. I was thinking about this on the way home yesterday... Isn't Dante pretty much a foul mouthed ninja turtle? Maybe more so in DMC3...

I got the Collectors Edition with the animated series and bonus disk..
This game is exactly what the first one did so right, but polished to next gen level.
Stunning.
And I don't see what all the hub-bub is about the camera angles, they work just fine.

Stop dodging the issue, get Burnout by Saturday or we're not friends.

I wish I had gotten the collectors edition :( I really love this game, I might have to guy buy the first three... but doubt it lol.

Once in a while, they do get a tad annoying. Mainly just switching rooms, when suddenly running forwards = turning left. Nothing game breaking imo.
But generally, this game kicks ass. What mission are you guys on? I think I'm on 7 (*spoiler* I just came out of the cave, and into the jungle, where Nero has a tiny encounter with Dante).

Camera angles are generally fine, but there are some annoying parts. Also, all those little puzzle, jumps, obstacles they make you do...are a little annoying as well. My sister is playing the game, she is on level 12 (human). Im on level 8 (devil hunter). Oh and Im helping my sister because she isnt as good as me :)....even though Ive never played DMC before. It must be all that gaming over the years (plus Ninja Gaiden).

I played the game for most of last weekend and I'm up to mission 3 on the son of sparda difficulty. I want to get through that difficutly to unlock heaven or hell mode.
Bloody palace mode rocks. Gotta love survival mode in a game like this.
Wish I had more time to play. I doubt I'll have time for the rest of this week.

What? Nobody made a comment about his sister? I am sorely disappointed in you people.

No, no. You're actually not even close to being on par with me in any category ever created by anyone, ever, anywhere....ever.
