Maybe, but I think it's interesting so many people will vote for someone that does it on the GOP platform. Just as interesting is that you can think the war is a mistake but every stupid TV ad or part of a TV show that shows a support the troops message you are supposed to just forget everything and praise that person like they saved your life. Endorsing a war with a mandate to indirectly support it through other ways is a way to keep continuing it. The biggest reason of the failure of the war is in no means the troops, it is the people dumb enough to believe those failing are going to one day succeed simply by giving them more time. Then in the same breath saying the opposition is to blame when not examining what laws and actions the opposition has tried to lay out. I would like to know how the war is going to end if both sides are the same and the only opposition to the war is coming from the DNC and the GOP has no means of ending it other than Paul and the rest have basically said nothing on anything over leaving the war.

Part of the process that is so simple that it escapes most people that want to believe they are for American values of freedom is simply that to enact freedom you have to do more than hurt or kill people. The war was won militarily in about a month. Since that time the GOP has proved they are nearly completely incompetent on helping people, that the world should belong to the richest 2% and everyone else is poor because they deserve it, and everything will be fixed by just shutting up and not paying attention to what they do. 2/3 of the GOP is so dumb you could have Satan running and they would elect him if he said: "I support the troops" on TV. Their is no accountability in this country and any way of supporting the GOP is in direct opposition with change.
