outsider

I saw that too. Now that Republicans lost the House and likely the Senate Bush can't play the game called "fuck you" for much longer.

Bush claims that he made this decision before the elections.
I claim that he's lying.
YES! RUMSFELD IS GONE! Maybe our military will actually be able to operate now.
The war between state and defense is finally over!

I almost cried today out of happiness one of the four horsemen is down and out. We'll have to wait to see if things actually get better but it is very hard to imagine with someone that had no direct war experience, disagreed with generals to form his own plans, was a special envoy to Saddam in the Reagan administration, when a soldier asked him "Why don't we have adequate weapons and armour" Rumsfeld said "You go to war with the army you have"., did nothing about Abuh Grab except try to cover it up that it didn't happen, and basically was a total prick to anyone that even questioned him... Well let's just say that's a pretty low bar to jump over. You'd have to purposely trip to not do a better job than Rumsfeld.
The timing is great, more than a few people have to wonder if there were a lot of things going to happen differently if Democrats hadn't regained control and if Rumsfeld would still be in. Still being realistic I doubt with the lack of courage recently Democrats have shown that they will change a lot. I'm interested in economic reform myself and interested particularly if Democrats are going to cap miltary spending, set timelines that aren't "well whenever it's done over there", cut the erroneous spending which makes me LOL at all conservatives that say they are for small government yet spend more than any democrat in history like that doesn't mean anything.
It's a happy day, smile, America took steps away from Bullshit and ignorance for the first time in a long time today.

Seriously... even with my 7am classes this morning I practically skipped to school today, like dorathy in the wizard of oz. I don't have enough faith in politicians to think that the democrats will turn everything around, but atleast Bush wont have a blank check for stupidity anymore. Not to mention the fact that yesterday had to SCARE THE SHIT out of all the republicans who still have seats.
As of today, your incumbency means jack SHIT. 6 years ago an incumbent would have almost a 98% of victory.
We are the people of the united states. FEAR US!

Holy crap! I was just on another site reading some stuff about the Rumsfeld resignation, and someone said this:
Wow! What caused him to step down? Personally I hope it's cancer.
Jesus christ, I almost fell out of my chair from laughing so damn hard...
