Montana is confirmed as Democrat. Democrats now have 50 Senators with Republicans having 49 and one still unconfirmed that will likely go Democrat.

Has anyone else noticed that Mark Foley is still staying competitive in his house race??? I thought he resigned! He was actually ahead a few minutes ago, and now he's back to trailing by a few percentage points.
WTF florida???
Haven't read the whole thing, but he isn't running. It's some other guy. But too late to take his name off.

I honestly don't know why they aren't just calling virginia. There's NO WAY allen is gonna flip 7 thousand votes. Even Montana was way closer.
Sore loser syndrome?

likely- I suppose you just cannot accept that you've lost. especially as his name was being linked with seeking the Republican nomination for the Presidency this time last year, now he is basically dead in the water.
Now that one election cycle is over, up comes the big one.
Seriously it was a hell of a night last night

Ya, both of the major republicans being considered for a presidential run got shut down last night. Santorum AND Allen.
Honestly, I find this morning's news EVEN BETTER than yesterday's. Rumsfeld.... OUSTED! Man, that makes me want to break out in song!

BREAKING NEWS:
The associated press and Reuters are calling Virginia for the Democrats. CNN and Fox haven't yet confirmed, but I'm sure they will shortly.
Thats it folks

Here's a video of Webb's campaign headquarters at the exact moment that he took the lead. It happens at about 1min into the video. Watch it, the place goes NUTS!
