Why do you think the French so vehemently was against this war? why do you think the "coalition of the willing" was made up of only two significant Countries? Why do you think four million people marched on the streets of London against the war- the biggest public demonstration in this Country since the General Strike of 1926. Why do you think three members of the British Cabinet resigned over protest from going to war with Iraq. Outside of Britain why do you think a further 30 million marched against the war. Why do you think a second UN resolution wasn't passed.

Only in the United States was there a majority of the population who thought that the United States invading Iraq was a good idea. Public opinion all across the rest of the World was against it. We all knew George W. Bush would be opening a huge can of worms by going into Iraq. Anyone who has ever been to the Middle East would know that such an invasion was foolhardy. Why do you think George Bush Snr didn't go for Saddam in the first Gulf War?

He told us that Iraq could fire missiles at Britain on 45 minutes notice- It would have taken hours to fire missiles across the border into Kuwait. We knew full well before the War started that it was all based upon lies. Hence millions of Britons marched against it, and the French, Germans, Russians and Chinese were bright enough not to get involved.

Your memory must be serverely lacking, because that comment appeared in my CP at 21:41 British Summer Time which was only four hours ago, and it was a direct response to this thread- to a post a made which was made at 2:13am British Summer Time on the 26th, and in this the 5th post in this topic.

I posted your comments in relation to my post about how the World knew four years ago that the US Intelligence Community seemingly didn't until this week, and when you posted that the comments you sent me had nothing to do with this thread, I sought out to prove that they were.
