me? i rely on the rule of law. because you're right. we're far too passionate to do the right thing all the time.
a government of laws, not of men. it's what the revolution was about.
Great. So then what?
Man made the laws, the laws are for man. If they're misaligned, what happens next?
If they're not, cool. We just wait it out and justice will prevail I guess.

look, sometimes you just have to toss out the basic values underlying the constitution to protect... um... er...
Let me just go on record as saying I think the US Constitution should be left the fuck alone. At all costs. I find it offensive that you might even be suggesting I'm in support of altering the backbone of what makes this country what it is.
So now maybe you can modify your snarky comments accordingly.
You fucking hippie.

you're not gonna like this, but...
oh, BARF!
you find it offensive???
you, who has no patience for self-identifying victims, are offended?
you, who counsels against taking even virulent posts personally, take offense?
you, who has made it clear to me that you have not a whit invested in my opinion of you, "find it offensive"???
all of that glaring inconsistency aside, i must say that i find it more than a little bit silly that you could be offended by me, a mere username and avatar in Interland. online politics forums are no place for zen stoics to be playing the "offensive" card. who the fuck am i? i'm only gred, for crying out loud.
the only available conclusion i'm left with is that the claim is tactical, a mere dodge. or that all of your other positions (noted above) have been. either that or you have failed in representing yourself in some way, because i really can't see how this can otherwise be reconciled with your MC persona.
my initial point was that, in my view, the constitution stands more than anything else for the protection of all persons, guilty and innocent, from the tyranny of men by means of due process of law. without that, it's not the constitution, and if you ask me, it's not only federal judges who should be getting behind that.
and i agree that whether you, personally, believe they're guilty is not the point. but to be indifferent to the selective abandonment of the rule of law is, in my view, to treat the constitution as a tool of convenience. and, to quote thomas jefferson, "that just plain sucks."

No no, I do like it.
But shut up for a second.

Didn't that give you just a little clue? Sheesh.
No more jokes for you, you're stoned.
And this part:
you, who has no patience for self-identifying victims, are offended?
you, who counsels against taking even virulent posts personally, take offense?
you, who has made it clear to me that you have not a whit invested in my opinion of you, "find it offensive"???
Well, you made all that up. You fucking hippie.
Now granted, that's your take on me. I can't fault you for not being me, but you're wrong.
You can't offend me, no one can.
Victims don't exist. I have no patience for delusions.
My counsel on virulent posts should have been another clue.
And by the time you get the the third one, well you're just a bonehead if I have to repeat it anymore.
Relax man. I don't take myself or anyone that fucking serious.
I may be a terse typist, but that's all it amounts to.
rad.
that shit was fun to write, tho.
but dude, you SUCK at joking!

Shut up, I'm a bastard.
I'm glad you pay such close attention to my general presence, but you gotta have faith man. I know I'm not exactly an easy study, but I'm often very sincere, and you can bank on many of the things I stick by.
To me that equates to transparency, so I think you somehow just know when I'm kidding...it's naive on my part, I know. So, my bad dude.
